LEARN THE ARTS OF HEALING QIGONG AND TAIJIQUAN NEAR THE SEA IN HALF MOON BAY

TAI CHI CHUAN ( also spelled Taijiquan, Taiji Quan, Tai Ji Quan, T'ai Chi Ch'uan ) is world-renowned for health enhancing and life extending benefits. Its' low impact, slow motion movements, coordinated with smooth patterns of breathing, gently massage the joints, organs and tissues, relieving pain and stress and correcting many misalignments and imbalances.

CHI KUNG ( variously also spelled: Qigong, Qi Gong, Qi Gung, Chi Gong, Chi Gung, Ki Gong, Ki Gung ), will also be taught. These Bio-Energy Cultivation exercise sequences rapidly heal existing maladies and weaknesses in the body, while preparing the whole person for the transformative aspects of Tai Chi Chuan.

INTERACTIVE TAIJI: Some two-person sensitivity, flexibility and coordination exercises from the Self-Defense / Martial Arts aspect of the tradition will be introduced and trained. As students progress, additional self-defense skills will be developed, keeping in mind any physical limitations of the student.

SIFU MICHAEL SHAMAN has been teaching these arts for over 25 years and practicing and studying them for over 35 years. He has given workshops, seminars, classes & demonstrations in various parts of the US, as well as in Europe, Asia and Latin America.

"Unlike many (most) teachers I have encountered, Sifu Michael 's main concern is in the actual mechanics of this energy work - He doesn't just teach the form. He is concerned with the how and the why and is very generous with explaining the reasons behind it all. I feel very fortunate to be able to study with him."
