ON THE BEACH
COSMIC NEW YEAR RETREAT II
PUERTO VALLARTA, MEXICO
January 2010
:

For the second year in a row, TAI CHI CHUAN MASTER MICHAEL SHAMAN will be leading a workshop/retreat in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, after New Years in January, 2010. The workshops will focus on Self Healing, Self Empowerment and Transformational aspects of Chi Kung (Qigong) and Tai Chi, as well as the training of Non-Violent Interactive skills.

A different Topic for training will be focused on each morning, beginning Monday. Weekday Group Classes will mainly be held mid-mornings and early evenings at the South end of Los Muertos beach near the Statue of the Seahorse Rider on the "Big Rock". Morning qigong exercise classes will be followed by Tai Chi Chuan training. Two person interactive Tai Chi will be trained primarily through safe interactive games and specialized trainings. Private and small group lessons on individual topics will be available late morning and afternoons. Sunset classes will be followed by lecture, discussion and revelry at a nearby cafe.

Excursions are available to special sites in and around this popular sea-shore town; the small fishing village of Boca is nearby and the paradisiacal village of Yalapa is a 40 minute boatride away. Whale watching with expert guides is available daily (the Grey Humpback whales winter here in the Bay of Banderas). Parasailing is available on the Beach. In town great food at inexpensive restaurants, cafes and clubs abound ... a vegetarian buffet, or a seafood fillet at El Brujo, can fill you for the day. Beaches, spas, galleries, sailing, music, Bullfights, Wednesday night artwalks... Melarcon promenade comes alive every night with mimes. acrobats, musicians and feature acts... And every night includes a fireworks display over Banderas Bay.
